It started young… my love of the earth and connection to vulnerable beings… empathy.
A spiritual gardner, tilling and reaping…
In my early teens—I picked strawberries and blueberries for extra money (with my mom) apples too… A good summer job was tree planting… 1000’s of saplings… a worthy job… that made me feel good.
I’ve been planting trees ever since…
When I learned of the shocking deforestation in the world… I continued this tree planting tradition by protecting 1000’s of hectares in the Amazon… and getting my hands dirty in Honduras, El Salvador and Haiti with my brother Gerry.
I believe we can all make a difference somehow in our own way… Just being conscious and aware.
Find your passion… Keep your eyes and ears open… but not to interfere… or impose.
Nature and wildlife conservation has always appealed to me… being a ‘Tom Boy’ I was called… I was the one people came to with their misfits… I’ve always been drawn to a challenge… I had a cat that walked sideways… and I have a nose for those in trouble…
