Good Intentions…
I have never been perfect… and I have made my peace with that.
More than peace, actually… I have come to believe that the pursuit of perfection is one of the great thefts of our time… It steals joy, it steals presence, it steals the ability to look at your own life and see it clearly for what it is… genuinely, beautifully, imperfectly enough…
Somehow, somewhere, perfection became a goal… A standard… Almost a moral obligation… And I want to gently, firmly, lovingly push back on that…
