… Prophetic.
Timing, patience, feelings…
I’m not so sure… but do I have to be?… is that the mysterious feeling of love? Is it always awkward? Are there always obstacles and the unknown… It’s exhilarating, tests us, and begs forgiveness… Is it normal to want a sign from another that we feel the same… proof? It’s a strange and wonderful feeling, loaded with insanity and unsteadiness…
Vulnerable questions, conflictions, uncertainty…
… Is it only the ego who wants to be loved back by the person we love?… If it is true love, then it would be fine either way—love is a gift, it’s not possession… or winning a game. It is free… It is wishing the other well, with or without you.
So, as we weigh our bent and sometimes screwball intuition… we must practice the art of pure love—adoration and admiration… without being fixated on any outcome—to live in the moment… to pray for all of our highest good, for a loved one comes with loved ones… and all are important in the grand scheme… inspired, painting, giving… and caring… but, not overwhelming… Just be you… a gentle breeze over a rock… a peaceful love, not uncomfortable, crazy… or feel indebted.
An affair, a lifetime, a moment.... a time in space… a film, a poem, a painting… a meeting of eyes on a train…
Time is an illusion…
Groundwork, restoration, foundation…
The feeling is long and short together at the same time—how lucky I am to feel love no matter what is… or how long it… the blessing lasts… it is the greatest gift. Time slows down around those we love.
The heart, less the head…
… bubbling delight and life feels new again… nothing before matters…
Energy, mystery, telepathy…
If I could love someone and let them be alone… because I like alone time too, my favorite hours are very early… to read, to write, to bake… I’m not sure I could give that up anyway; I'm sure the perfect person for me—would like his alone time, too.
Even a twinge of jealousy is not love… it’s an old habit that may stem from betrayal, abuse, or generational crap… but not the person in front of you… It may be something witnessed or felt all the way back to childhood… or even another’s feelings seeping in…
And when all else fails… it’s a nice reminder that…
Rejection is God’s protection.
I’m sure there have been times in your life that you’ve realized later on… and thanked God…
